In January’15 RBI reduced repo rate by 25 basis points (0.25%). In March’15 RBI reduced repo rate again by 25 basis points (0.25%). In June’15 RBI reduced repo rate by further 25 basis points (0.25%). In last 6 months there has been 3 reductions in repo rate with aggregate reduction of 0.75%. These reductions in repo rate has lowered home loan interest rates by 0.4%-0.5%.
But how home loan interest rate cut helps ...
