Unbelievable: Man on wheelchair robs a bank, escapes swiftly
New Delhi: A man in a wheelchair robbed a bank of more than $1,000 in New York.
The daylight theft took place on a working day at the Santander Bank on Broadway in Astoria.
“The man in his 20s, wearing jeans and a gray hoodie passed a note to a teller (below). The suspect didn’t flash a weapon, but the teller handed over $1,212, cops said,” a New York daily reported.
CCTV footage showed the robber swiftly leaving the bank without being caught.
